Farewell fairytale end Look who’s dancing With them demons again Dolly got a body
That will make you
Want to stop
Use to have a talent Now a victim of the block
Sally Got them vines
Sally so fine got em standing in line Got em baited in Cali
All the way to Caroline
Last seen in Dallas
Headed for the state line
You know just how the book begins
You won’t hear the truth
From her family or her friends
We used to be together from my mouth to God’s ears We used to be in love but I ain’t seen her in years
Saw her walking
Walking in the alley
It’s no mistaking it was long tall Sally The way that Sally walks
That’s the way that Sally walks baby
There’s no changing that dialogue Cause its bold and cold
And its written in stone
The way that Sally Walks
That’s the way that Sally walks
Walk Sally walk Sally walk ......
This is undoubtedly my single favorite album of all time. It feels like such a perfect culmination of all the themes and ideas Fleet Foxes has been working with since 2008. It answers many of the questions found on both Helplessness Blues and Crack-Up, and represents an incredible maturation and growth in Robin Pecknold's perspective. Their other albums are certainly masterpieces, but this, in my opinion, is their magnum opus. I doubt it will be recognized as such in its time. isaiah_stuart
